SNCF needed a scalable Public Address solution to manage announcements and remotely control network audio devices across 389 railway stations in the Paris area. To overcome the challenge of managing this large-scale network, they implemented Digigram’s PYKO audio solution. This robust system enabled efficient distant audio recording, centralized remote control via simple commands, and seamless communication with equipment through RS232 and GPIO tunneling. As a result, the deployment enhanced operational efficiency and improved the overall passenger experience.
